We are a small boutique breeder located in Battle Ground, WA. Our family lives on an acre and we currently have four ALDs that live with us: Ed, Poppy, Arabelle, and Gigi.

 

Ed is an amazing dog who I will be training as a therapy dog used in schools and hospitals. He is the reason I started this business!  You can follow Ed on Instagram too!

All of our puppies are born in our home. Our mothers and sires either live with us or in a guardian home as part of their family. We take great pride in making sure each puppy is placed in a loving and caring home. If you are interested in becoming a Guardian Family, please let us know!

Here at Bark & Bramble, we have mini-to-medium Multigenerational Australian Labradoodles. This means our puppies are more than a mere generation or two deep. They have been breed over at least six generations to produce consistent hypo-allergenic coats, size, features, and (most-importantly), dispositions.

 

These are excellent family pets, between 20 to 45 lbs, who are equally happy going on walks as they are cuddling in the mornings.

 

Our dogs come from lines certified by the Australian Labradoodle Association of America (ALAA) and/or the Worldwide Australian Labradoodle Association (WALA). They are a great source to learn more about the history of the ALD breed!

 

 About Us

Our entire family has always enjoyed the company of dogs. When Marce' was teaching, she decided to bring our guardian dog (Truffles) into her classroom. The results were amazing! Kids loved reading to the dog, struggling kids would cuddle her. Children who were having a bad day, always had a sympathetic ear.

Therapy dogs were just starting to emerge in schools, and special education had been using them for awhile. It was here that we began to see a need for dogs in the classroom. We also saw the impact dogs could have on cancer patients, the elderly, and those in need of a great companion.

Our guardian dog Truffles was an Australian Labradoodle and this is where our love for the breed began to flourish. This past year, Steve and Linda Rogers introduced us to their therapy and service quality dogs. We are now collaborating with them to also bring you Cavapoochons. Both breeds are loving, gentle, and extremely intelligent. They are eager to please, and love being with their owner.

Last year, we asked Bob and Jodie (both educators) to join us in the business to continue our mission of producing top quality puppies that could be used as therapy and service dogs. We firmly believe that each puppy personality has a human who was created to compliment them or their family.

Our motto is "there is a puppy for every person you just need to find it!"
